Proprietary Paper, Purpose-Built for Handwriting
LIFE develops its own original paper — "L Writing Paper" — in collaboration with a specialist paper manufacturer. As the industry shifted towards stock optimised for printing, LIFE took the opposite path, engineering a paper specifically for the feel and flow of fountain pen ink. The result is a beautifully textured laid paper with a soft cream tone: virtually no bleed-through, no feathering, and an effortlessly smooth writing surface.
